All notices, requests and other communications hereunder must be in writing and will be deemed to have been duly given only if delivered personally against written receipt or mailed by prepaid first class certified mail, return receipt requested, or mailed by overnight courier prepaid, to (a) Executive at the address on file with the Company, and (b) Company at the following address: Steadfast Apartment REIT, Inc. 18100 Von Karman Avenue Suite 500 Irvine, CA 92612 Attention: Board of Directors... All such notices, requests and other communications will (i) if delivered personally to the address as provided in this Section 18, be deemed given on the day so delivered, or, if delivered after 5:00 p.m. local time or on a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or any day on which banks located in the State of California are authorized or obligated to close (a "Business Day"), then on the next proceeding Business Day, (ii) if delivered by certified mail in the manner described above to the address as provided in this Section 18, be deemed given on the earlier of the third Business Day following mailing or upon receipt and (iii) if delivered by overnight courier to the address as provided for in this Section 18, be deemed given on the earlier of the first Business Day following the date sent by such overnight courier or upon receipt, in each case regardless of whether such notice, request or other communication is received by any other Person to whom a copy of such notice is to be delivered pursuant to this Section 18.
