Amendment to CBS Affiliation Agreements with Young Broadcasting for WLNS-TV and KLFY-TV (October 2004)

Summary

CBS and Young Broadcasting have agreed to extend their existing affiliation agreements for WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan, and KLFY-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana, for an additional one-week period, from October 6, 2004, to October 13, 2004. After this period, Young Broadcasting will no longer have the right to broadcast CBS network programs on these stations. Both parties have signed to confirm this extension and its terms.

In order to extend the Agreement for an additional one (1) week, Paragraph 3(a) of the Agreement is hereby deleted and replaced by the following new Paragraph 3(a):

 

 

“3.

Term and Termination.

 

 

 

 

 

(a)

Term.

 

 

 

 

 

The term of this Agreement shall be the period commencing on October 6, 2004 and expiring on October 13, 2004. Notwithstanding any provision of any offer or acceptance under Paragraph 1 hereof, upon the expiration or any termination of the term of this Agreement, Broadcaster shall have no right whatsoever to broadcast over Affiliated Station any Network Program.”
