Summary
Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. entered into a Change in Control Agreement with Elizabeth B. Eckel, Senior Vice President - Marketing. If a change in control occurs, Ms. Eckel is entitled to a severance payment equal to one times her base salary and continued benefits for 12 months. The agreement is designed to provide financial security and continued benefits to the executive in the event of a company takeover or similar event.
