Universal Health Services, Inc. Non-Employee Directors' Fee Schedule (Effective September 28, 2005)
Universal Health Services, Inc. has established a fee schedule for its non-employee directors, effective September 28, 2005. Non-employee directors receive an annual retainer of $40,000, with additional retainers for serving as chair or member of certain committees. Committee chairs receive between $5,000 and $10,000, and audit committee members (excluding the chair) receive $2,500. Directors also earn $1,000 for each committee meeting lasting more than 30 minutes. All payments are made in cash.
