Retention Agreement Between Talis Biomedical and Rebecca Markovich Dated April 10, 2024
Talis Biomedical has offered Rebecca Markovich a one-time retention bonus of $89,250 to encourage her continued employment and performance. To receive the bonus, Rebecca must remain actively employed, maintain good standing, and uphold company values through the completion of key business milestones, including a sale, merger, or wind down of the company. The agreement confirms her at-will employment status, meaning either party can end the employment at any time. The bonus will be paid after applicable deductions if all conditions are met.

In an effort to incentivize you to maintain your at-will employment with us, we are pleased to offer you a one-time lump-sum retention bonus of $89,250.00 (gross), subject to the terms and conditions below. This retention bonus is designed to reward continued great performance, professional attitude, ongoing collaboration and teamwork, as well as your continued contributions to Talis Biomedical.
The designated retention bonus period is from the date you sign the letter through the achievement of these business-critical milestones listed in the bullets below. To be eligible to earn this retention bonus, you must meet the following requirements:
Your employment remains at-will, meaning that you and Talis Biomedical may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
