McConnell, a non-employee director of Hansen Medical, Inc., has formally waived his right to receive any cash fees, including annual retainers and meeting fees, for his board and committee service during the 2009 calendar year. This waiver is addressed to the company's Chief Financial Officer and applies to all compensation for his director role in that year.
