General Electric Company, through its Vice President and Treasurer, confirms to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that neither it nor its subsidiaries have any outstanding long-term debt instruments, other than those already filed as exhibits to its 2018 Annual Report, that authorize securities exceeding 10% of the company’s total consolidated assets. GE also agrees to provide the SEC with copies of any such debt instruments not filed, if requested. This letter is a compliance statement related to SEC filing requirements.
