This endorsement notifies policyholders that MetLife Life and Annuity Company of Connecticut has merged into MetLife Insurance Company of Connecticut, which will now be responsible for all benefits under existing policies, contracts, or certificates. All references to the former company name are replaced with the new one. No other terms, conditions, or benefits are changed, and policyholder rights remain unaffected. The change is effective as of December 7, 2007.
