Amendment to Employment Letter Regarding Supplemental Retirement Benefit – Applera Corporation and Dennis L. Winger

This letter amends Dennis L. Winger's employment agreement with Applera Corporation. If Mr. Winger remains employed until his 60th birthday, or if the company terminates him without cause before then, he will receive a supplemental retirement benefit after age 60.
