Summary
This document outlines the compensation policy for non-employee directors of Alliance Bankshares Corporation, effective January 2, 2008. Non-employee directors receive an annual retainer and monthly fees, with additional payments for serving as chairpersons of various committees. The Chairman Emeritus receives a separate monthly fee. Directors are also eligible for non-qualified stock option awards under the company's 2007 Incentive Stock Plan, at the discretion of the Compensation Committee.

Equity Compensation
